The Bean in Chicago, and my Toby
Cranberry Mojitos (or Monkey Toes as my brother prefers)
This is such a tasty recipe from my friend Mandy and I just had to share! It's the perfect holiday cocktail, but still feels cozy all winter. And did I mention how good it is?
Ingredients
1 bunch fresh mint, trimmed (about 1 cup)
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups light rum
1 1/4 cups fresh lime juice
Cranberry juice cocktail
2 10-ounce bottles sparkling water, chilled
Using a wooden spoon, mash the mint with sugar in the bottom of a large pitcher. Add rum and lime juice, then stir to dissolve sugar. Mix in sparkling water, cranberry juice and ice. Garnish with cranberries and mint, and get the party started!

It’s a bit wintery.
It finally snowed!! And then rained. Then iced over. Then snowed again! And while it makes for a beautiful winter scene, it’s stinkin cold out there.
But I can’t complain for too long, because I’m skipping the country for warmer climates. Helloooo Australia!! Yep, seriously. Come January 11th I’ll be loving life in the hot hot heat of Sydney with Sam. Excitement would be an understatement :)

A Company Christmas
The parties have begun! And what better way to kick off the season than with a company party?! A few of us started the night off at my coworker’s beautiful home (heyyyyy Mandy!) and then headed into downtown Indy for the full festivities. There were speeches, congratulations, delicious food, lots of wine, and photos galore! I am so thankful to work at such an amazing place with such incredible people.
A gorgeous spread, complete with cranberry mojitos (serious yum)

A Cookie Christmas!
A proud John and his 7-frosting/sprinkle layer cookie. Oh, and there was also a Mounds bar on top. Boys!
My poor poor gingerbread man…
I also took a couple shots of John and Di for their Christmas card. I hope it doesn’t spoil the surprise, but aren’t they such a beautiful couple!
