I'm really excited to finally share my latest painting with you! I've been keeping this one under wraps because it was actually commissioned by a very good friend of mine as a surprise FOR another very good friend of mine....Elise, over at A Romantic Hippie!
This was such a fun project and I loved knowing that as I was painting, Elise had NO idea that a friend on the other side of the world was thinking about her and using her as inspiration.
This painting was based on a previous piece I created over a year ago, but reinvented. I used richer colors inspired by autumn.... fallen leaves, peppermint tea, chopped wood, crisp apples....
And I hope Elise loves it as much as I do.
