DROP CAP COOL

Daily Drop Cap is a super cool project by designer & illustrator Jessica Hische (who is supremely awesome and talented). Since September of 2009, she has designed and posted an illustrative initial cap daily (slash regularly - she has a day job!), to "prettify the internet and beautify blog posts" as she says. How nice is that?!

She even welcomes people to download and use her designs, AND gives you the codes to copy/paste for use right on her site. Talk about some generous internetting. Here are some of my favorites and check out her website here for even more.

 I've just purchased this piece and am holding my breath until it arrives here from Maine.

Now to plan where she will live.....

Lewis Leong

I couldn’t help an impromptu photo shoot with Lew while we were down in Mollymook…

He is the happiest baby in the world. And loves pretty blonde girls. Must have something to do with his Mom :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

I can't believe it's 2011 already. Time really does fly! I was thinking back over the past few years and could hardly believe how much has changed - for me and for the people I love. My friends and family really outdid themselves in 2010 - engagements, weddings, babies, new houses, new cities, new careers, new loves.....

But for me - I need to CHILL OUT. In the past two years I have flown over the Pacific 7 times, been on 4 International trips, moved to a foreign country, drained my savings accounts (in both countries), lived in 4 different homes, worked at 3 different companies, aaaaand snagged the love of my life.

Time for a break.

That's my resolution. Slow down. Let go. And enjoy every minute!

I love this Resolution Generator. It actually worked perfectly for me! And when I tried the Gimme More button it still came up strangely appropriate.
