CAFÉ CRE ASION

I just HAVE to tell you about this adorable little macaroon café in Sydney called Cre Asion. My friend Amy and I met there one afternoon – sunny but cool, which is the perfect weather for sweets and cappuccinos in my opinion!

There have been plenty of reviews of this café (like this lovely write-up on the Food Pornographer)  so I won’t pretend to be a food blogger. But I will say that I loved it soooo much! If you live in Sydney, please go. I mean, just look how cute it is!

 

Not only do they have some of the most unique flavors of macaroons – think jasmine, raspberry+lychee, pistachio, and lavender – they also have amazing baristas behind the machine, pouring perfect Single Origin coffee.

   

Amy and I ordered four to share: Lavender, Caramel, Lime and Dear Chris (a chocolate/nutella flavor) and I’m not sure I could choose a favorite. The caramel was a bit too sweet for me, but Dear Chris was just PERFECT. Lime was so fresh and the lavender macaroon tasted like I was eating a flower….but better.

You can’t blame me for getting a box to go. Can you? :)
